Jack was ready to go before I was this morning! I didn't even have to ask him twice to get dressed! On my way down to the art museum to continue taking inventory I made sure he got to the neighbor's house, his home base for the day. While he got to do fun things like swim in another neighbor's pool, I was bending and hefting and sorting and counting and writing down numbers like mad until they kicked me out because everyone wanted to go home. At least I was in the shop, not the basement this time (the museum is closed on Mondays so it was perfect timing for end-of-year inventory). I'm amazed at how much physical labor is required in taking inventory. It was nice to spend the evening hanging out at a family gathering at my sister-in-law's house. I could barely keep my eyes open at 10:00, but missed a window because Jack had a tough time settling in for the night. Once he was asleep, I couldn't get to sleep. So I stayed up late reading. Again.
