Jack apparently used up every ounce of energy he had yesterday playing with his friends. That combined with a flareup of hayfever (and subsequent drugging with Benadryl) led to a very late start--he slept until nearly noon! I was the only one who made it to church today, and that was just for Primary to take care of my secretarial duties. Roger said that it took Jack more than an hour to get functioning after he got up. So overall a mellow day. I got caught up on this micro diary, checked a few of my favorite blogs, worked on getting up to speed with my new Facebook page (who knew what I was missing all this time?). Late in the afternoon we had a tremendous thunderstorm and lots of rain. All three of us watched first from the driveway, then when the rain really started coming down, we opened the garage door and sat in the back of our Jeep. Oh, for a front porch! Spent the evening with the bedroom window open listening to the rain and catching up on episodes of So You Think You Can Dance on the dvr.
