Tried to sleep in without too much success. Got up and hiked up the canyon. I passed the last runners in the Hobble Creek Half Marathon and then the trail was quite empty except for a SNAKE that I almost stepped on. I'm not really sure what I accomplished during the day other than a couple of loads of laundry, a trip to the grocery store and a few other errands. I watched Olympics on and off all day. Jack and I are reading Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator together. My fifth grade teacher read it to the class and I haven't read it since. I always thought the vermicious knids were pernicious knids. Go figure.
