Up early. Seems I can't sleep past 7 am anymore. Too much stuff I gotta do! Too much stuff in my head! Church was eventful today. Roger was released from his calling as ward clerk. A breath of relief in our house as that job required Roger to do two things he really doesn't like: go to lots of meetings and take care of lots of paperwork. Oh, and wear a white shirt and tie. Primary was nuts with teachers not showing up and lots of substitutes and visitors. Lunch, an hour watching the Olympics and then off to our long-time friends' house in Cedar Hills to see Lars, their missionary son, returned home from Mexico. He looks great, and the rest of the family looks so happy to have him home. Watched Olympics (including that amazing U.S. gold in the men's 400m freestyle relay!) late, late into the night.
