My lazy Sunday spilled over to a fairly unproductive Monday. Because of my afternoon nap on Sunday, I stayed up really, really, really late reading. And Jack has had a cold. So the two of us slept until nearly 10:00. The day was spent getting things done here and there - a few loads of laundry, cutting up our first watermelon of the summer, paying some bills, talking with one of the artists in my fall museum exhibition. We did get out of the house for a bit because Jack started swimming lessons today. He's taking lessons at a private pool, and so far I'm very impressed with his teacher. I think he'll make good progress on his strokes this week.
