Trying to follow through on giving Jack a substantive daily job. Today we cleaned a bathroom together. Jack did an extra good job on the toilet bowl. Got a phone call from Lily Toy Hong, a children's book illustrator I'm hoping to include in an exhibition I'm putting together. She's in! Lunch with Wendy, Virlie and Judy. Three fabulous hours of good friends and good lobster bisque soup. An hour reading to Jack under the aspen trees in our yard. Perfect, perfect temperature today! Family night involved a huge stockup at Costco with followup trip to Target since we were in the neighborhood.
