We've been planning all week to take Jack to the new Indiana Jones movie. This morning he woke up and decided he didn't want to go. No reason. So we didn't go. Instead we went on a long bike ride delivering the thank you notes he wrote earlier this week and read many chapters in the latest Percy Jackson novel (Percy is a modern day son of Poseidon who goes on quests to help save Olympus). I worked on some stuff for Primary - a regular part of my job as secretary involves reminding kids who have been assigned to share scriptures, give talks and say prayers and to make new assignments to pass out for the next week. I also enjoyed listening to Hillary Clinton's speech suspending her campaign. I thought it was a fabulous speech, and I loved the line about 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling. Not a hugely productive day, but I made better food choices!
