Today was nice. Roger took the day off work because Jack didn't have school and I did. Before class I went for a run up the canyon and ran into several friends. It's so beautiful every day this time of year. Class was a breeze as a my students wrote in-class essays. While they worked I wrote a bit and planned next week's classes a bit. After class I did a few errands, including a big Costco stock up. After I got home, I decided I just wanted to hang out and relax. I debated whether I wanted to watch the first presidential debate (I've been ignoring the presidential race lately because, per usual, it's become petty and ridiculous). I was glad I watched the debate. It elevated the race back to, well, a presidential level.
