 A long day of cataloguing and helping students at the high school library, then grading papers for UVU all afternoon and evening. I didn't get enough done for either job. I also kept having run-ins with Jack (about getting dressed in the morning, about picking up, about doing homework, about talking to me respectfully). I did hold firm on a couple of things, and I think at the end of the day he respected that. But man, parenting is a tough, tough job and I screw up a lot! On breaks from grading, I took a long walk around the block, I read to Jack, I did the dishes, I did a load of laundry, I listened to funny stories Roger had to tell from work. All in all, a pretty routine day full of too many things I didn't really want to do (okay, mostly the grading part). Tomorrow is a new day. I'm looking forward to a fresh start.
