Spent this anniversary focused on memories of my Grammie, who was born on 9-11-1911, but who died before the twin towers fell. Got a couple of hours of work in before taking Jack to school and heading to the high school library for a 3 hour shift. The librarian wasn't there, and I couldn't track down the admin login information for the cataloguing system, but I found lots of ways to make myself useful. Home for a few minutes, then to the post office to mail book orders, and to the museum for a few hours before meeting Jack's school bus at home. Shelley and I got lots done, including getting a start on putting books out on display in the store, getting the last few pieces ready to hang, talking with Doug who will adjust the lighting, etc. Spent the balance of the day at home, mostly working on signage. I was up until 3 a.m. I still need to proofread the signage before printing it on the special paper I bought. I just need to make it until Saturday afternoon and then I can crash.
